Social Media is a part of life. And now, well, it’s also a part of death.

Facebook has a new app that lets users have their final words posted after they are gone.

The “If I Die” Facebook app is easy to install. Users simply record a brief five minute video or a text post with their final words. Assign three good friends to act as ‘trustees,'” and you’re good to go!

Well good to go is kind of an ironic phrase, because once you actually do “go”, the three trustees are required to confirm your  death with the app before your message is posted.

The developer is very clear that no one will ever see the messages users create until the death is verified.
