April 26th, 2013 by Boot Hill Hearse under Last Ride Tributes

March 8, 2013, was a very sad day for not only family and friends but for the United Sates Marine Corps.

The local obituary reads “Another Marine was called home by our Lord to guard Heavens Gates. Mark Anthony Marshall was born in Madison, W. Va. on Jan. 30, 1960 to Lonnie Marshall and Constance G. Hope. Mark was a proud Marine and a loving father and grandfather. Mark loved to laugh, help other people, and loved sharing good spirits with his friends. Above all, what mark loved the most was spending time with his grandson, Andrew.

Marine Mark AnthonyMark is survived by his daughters Alicia A. (Christopher J.) Krug of Ft. Lewis, Wa., and Ashley Y. A very special Thank You to the Patriot Guard Riders who did a great job escorting the funeral procession from the church to the cemetery.
